Book Thoughts:Love&Gelato

Love & GelatoLove & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love&Gelato was everything it was suppose to be. The perfect contemporary, the perfect choice for a binge read till eye exhaustion. The perfect medication if you ever had to restart after a not so perfect experience. Any book set in Italy means put your feet up and relax. I enjoyed this book for helping me relax and giving me a free trip to Italy. who doesn’t want that? Ren was the perfect Italian on his scooter and the descriptions of food had me begging my kitchen ,pleading with it to produce anything good.

Book Thoughts :The Winner’s Kiss

The Winner's Kiss (The Winner's Trilogy, #3)The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am very impressed with this series at the ability to captivate me as much as it did. The relationships especially between Arin and Kestrel was very well done and not the least bit annoying at least not to me. I enjoyed how annoying the emperor remained till the end. For me I do not like a lot of detailed War planning and description so I found myself skipping through the long paragraphs where they would discuss their strategy. This is just me I find that that aspect never holds my interest but I am sure those of you out there in love with strategy will enjoy it. I was more interested in seeing what would happen rather than being told and even though we were told there was a surprise added with every new plan anyway.
All in all I did enjoy this book I feel quite satisfied at it’s end. I do not mourn the end of it as I did some other series but it was quite a good read.

Book Thoughts:The Rose and The Dagger

The Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath & the Dawn, #2)The Rose & the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

THis WAS AMAZING! I could not put this down at all. Every minute of every second I was at it. I cried with IRSA!! I could not believe it. Sigh . All great books must come to an end I suppose. What do I do now? My eyes are sore from binge reading and I don’t even want to come back to reality where there is no Caliph Khalid and no Joonam. Sigh. WHy.

Book Thoughts:The Winner’s Curse

The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1)The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I know when I have enjoyed a book when every spare moment I get, I would pull it out and get lost in it.This is what happened to me. I finished this any chance I got and I truly enjoyed the characters as well as the story. Nearing the end however, I was not so taken by the suspense. I started to wonder how can this be resolved. I was skeptical that the author had made such big issues.I honestly have no idea what the way out will be for the next part and I am nervous to go forward. I suppose that this might be a reason to make this an even greater book. I definitely look forward to the second book. It definitely got me out of a reading slump. I hope for a great surprise or an interesting resolution that will have me going OH MI Gooodness all day.
