Last year November 22 2015 I finished The Wrath and the Dawn and LOVED it. Imagine the disappointment when I found out that I had to wait months for the next book to come out. Finally the wait is over. Yet I cannot remember much of what I read besides the feeling of loving the book. I decided to read a few of the novellas that I could attain , just to jog my memory a bit of the characters. I don’t usually read novellas unless I absolutely love the books and I usually  hate when novellas are just a few pages long. The best novellas I have ever come across were that of the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Her novellas were so different and so informative, not just a little teaser. Anyway I did read two novellas or rather short stories of the wrath and dawn series and honestly I still find myself trying hard to remember the personalities of the characters. I used to be able to re read books back in the day, but nowadays I find it hard to re read a book just because of time and how fast it passes. Hopefully after I read The Rose and the Dagger I will be able to give a better book thought. In the meantime anyone out there love this series?

That Time I Tried A Sari

sari pic.JPG

I freak out at different cultures. I Always have. SO when I got this opportunity I jumped on it so quickly that they would have had to shoo me away to get rid o me. This is a very cherished memory. I must have been about 16 years old . I have always loved the colors of sari’s the vibrancy, and how beautiful and elegant it made the women look. I do not know the entire story behind it but  I will always love and cherish this photo. What better way to immortalize it than by placing it on the internet.I remember how it also sparked the early seeds of love of language as well as the travel bug within me.  Have you ever tried on  something significant from a culture besides your own?

What I’m Watching

Yes that’s right! It’s 2016 and I am 20 years old and No I have never watched sailor moon before. It is never too late to start though!!!  Since starting an animation class I was hearing lot of the classmates talk about cartoons that I was just not familiar with. Every single Sailor moon reference just flew over my head all the time. It started to annoy me. What was so great about this thing! that even people much older than I am still reminisce as if they wish to go back to the good days where they would watch Sailor moon on TV and chat with their friends about it. I was obviously missing out!! So of course I had to get into it . Better late than never.

I flew through season one and two and I can now say concretely that I am Hooked and forever shall be!!

I am currently watching what I believe to be season 3 ,Sailor Moon S.

This sailor Moon marathon has been the greatest pick me up , cheer me up moments ever. I am shamelessly in love with everything about it and am glad I decided to start.

So far my Favorite Sailor soldier Is AMI, Sailor Mercury  Although I am not even close to a study-holic like she is, I tend to gravitate to her feelings especially when she wonders if studying is all she is good at.I love the different outfits that she wears and I truly enjoy her short hair!!

Thank You for reading. To ll the Sailor fans out there, Count me IN!

Book Thoughts:The Winner’s Curse

The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1)The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I know when I have enjoyed a book when every spare moment I get, I would pull it out and get lost in it.This is what happened to me. I finished this any chance I got and I truly enjoyed the characters as well as the story. Nearing the end however, I was not so taken by the suspense. I started to wonder how can this be resolved. I was skeptical that the author had made such big issues.I honestly have no idea what the way out will be for the next part and I am nervous to go forward. I suppose that this might be a reason to make this an even greater book. I definitely look forward to the second book. It definitely got me out of a reading slump. I hope for a great surprise or an interesting resolution that will have me going OH MI Gooodness all day.
